FABframe is on the move! We’ve outgrown our old premises and taken over a new huge space at 2-4 Dunlop Ave, Strathfield South.
With over 4,000 square metres, we now have purpose designed factory and office space that is state of the art.
The main aims for our move were to improve efficiencies, work flow and quality control.
The new space is designed to logically flow from sales to production to art, print and finishing, then to fabrication and dispatch.
Quality control will be improved as the teams are working closer together and able to quickly identify and fix any issues that arise.
Our factory space is clean and dust free and our investment in rapid roller doors throughout the entire production facilty has brought may benefits:
- Increased our productivity between departments without the need for opening and closing doors,
- The ability to control our printing environments by providing a draft proof seal,
- Safe and secure,
- Sensor operated in major corridors.
Amongst other machinery, we’ve invested in an automated fabric cutting machine and a metal cutter for customising FABframe profiles. The image above shows one of our new printing areas.
And much to the joy of our designers, they have more space and a dedicated design room.
All our office staff are very happy that our IT has also been upgraded.
We also have a dedicated boardroom, meeting and training areas.
With production more central to manufacturing, and with the improvements in technology, we’re able to offer faster output.

New members of the Sales Team
We’d like to welcome Greg & Ibby to the FABframe Sales Team.
Greg started with us in January as an Account Manager. From France originally, Greg has worked for the past 6 years in hospitality and graduated two years ago with a degree in Hotel Management.
Having worked as Assistant Operations Manager in the Events department of a major London hotel during the 2012 Olympics, Greg has a good understanding of the demands placed on Event Managers.
This new role will draw on his experience in customer service, hospitality and events, while developing his sales skills.
Ibby is also from France and has been enjoying the Australian lifestyle for the past three years.
With experience in the fields of public relations, event management, customer service and marketing in France and Sydney, Ibby is well placed to support the sales team in her role as Sales Co-ordinator.
